My Background & Approach: I’ve been working with people in career transition for almost 35 years, with nearly 15 of those years spent as a human resource recruiter. And that includes supporting professionals from entry level through c-level in a wide range of industries.
Having been on all sides of the hiring process, I know how to ask the right questions and pull out the answers needed to appeal to and communicate clearly and effectively with hiring decision makers.
For example, I know recruiters want to hear the authentic voice of a candidate when screening a resume. So, I work hard to ensure the client’s voice is there. This has become especially important in this age of AI-produced resumes. Incidentally, while I’m not against the use of AI, I don’t use it when working on resumes for this very reason.
My clients appreciate and take advantage of my insider expertise… because sometimes expertise with a human nuanced perspective is exactly what’s needed to accelerate results.
