Resume Writing Project

A Resume Writing Project is basically done virtually through email, making it fast and convenient. I'll use my insider knowledge and writing skills to pull the pieces of the puzzle together for you. You'll still be involved in producing your resume, but you'll have the hands-on assistance you need to get it right. 

How It Works

Step 1: First, we’ll schedule an initial phone consultation.

We’ll take 20 minutes or so to discuss your resume project and determine that we’re a good fit.

Step 2: After we talk, and you let me know you’re ready to proceed, I’ll email you a customized worksheet and payment link.

Step 3: Once you’ve completed the worksheet, you’ll email it to me and make payment.

Step 4: After I receive your payment and completed worksheet, I’ll work on and send you the draft. Average turnaround time is 5 business days or less.

Step 5: We’ll communicate any changes needed via email (or phone), and when you’re satisfied it’s ready, I’ll email you the final version in both Word and PDF.

NOTE: Typical project prices are noted below. Final quoted prices are determined based on scope of the writing project.

Resume Writing Project: $495

Resume Style: Traditional*

*A Traditional Resume is typically formatted with minimal or no graphic elements and may be up to two pages long, whereas a Resume Teaser or Graphic Resume is heavy on graphics, light on content, usually one page, and often resembles an online profile.
Add-On Service LinkedIn Full Profile: $225

You’ll receive a “reverse worksheet” written and compiled based on your finalized resume and ready for you to copy/paste.

Add-on Service LinkedIn Headline & About Section only: $85

Written based on your finalized resume.

Resume Review & Advising Session_sq

Resume Advising Session

A Resume Advising Session entails us meeting for one hour over Zoom so that I can provide suggestions for your resume (including showing/sharing samples, etc.). After the session, you'll make the recommended changes and send your updated resume for a final review.

What’s Included 

  • During your 1-hour session, we can focus solely on your resume, or we can holistically include your LinkedIn profile in the discussion if you’d like.
  • After the session, I’ll send you samples, examples, and other resources that we discuss or look at together during the session.
  • Once you’ve made your resume changes (and LinkedIn changes, if applicable) after the session, I’ll proofread your changes and provide final feedback via email if you’d like. This is optional, but highly recommended.
  • You also have the option to record the Zoom session if you’d like (please request this at the start of the session).

How It Works

Step 3: After we’ve confirmed session date/time, I’ll send you a Zoom link and payment link before we meet.

Resume Advising Session: $250
Add-On Sessions:  $195* each
*Should you want support beyond the resume, e.g., an interview prep session, additional sessions are offered at this rate when scheduled within 6 months of the initial session.

Resume Review & Feedback Report

The Resume Review & Feedback Report option is an affordable way to ask specific questions and get the qualified opinion of an expert on how to improve your resume and raise the level of its effectiveness. Simply complete the order form and pay online to get started.

What’s Included 

  • 30-minute Phone Consultation during which you’ll receive personalized feedback and the chance to ask questions.
  • Feedback Report, which is a follow-up written summary of notes from the consultation to help you improve your resume.

How It Works

Step 1: Click the button to open the Resume Review Order Form. Complete the form and make payment (through the form). 

Step 2: Once your completed order form and payment is received, I’ll email you within 1 business day to arrange a phone call with you.

Step 2: After our phone consultation, I’ll email you a feedback report with the summary of notes to help you improve your resume.
